Frisch signs up at PwC

Petr Frisch accepted the position of director of the International Assignment Solutions group of the Tax and Legal Services department of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). In this new role, he will be responsible for the development of services in personal income tax, social security, health insurance, employee benefits, and international assignments.

Since 1997, Frisch has held tax-related positions in major auditing and advisory companies in the Czech Republic and Belgium. In 2000, he began specializing in tax services for individuals and employees of international companies.

Frisch graduated from the International Relations Faculty at the University of Economics in Prague, as well as the Law Faculty at Charles University. In addition, he has experience with the European Court of Justice and the institutions of the European Union from his time in Brussels. He speaks English and French.

Volksbank CZ has opened another branch in Prague 10 and assigned Kateřina Klemtová to work as its chief operating officer. Klemtová joined Volksbank CZ from eBanka, where she worked as a mortgage account manager. In the past, she has collaborated with the InterCom marketing agency and was responsible for promoting mobile telecommunications operator Oskar (now Vodafone). Klemtová graduated from Pardubice University in east Bohemia.

Telecommunications company Telefónica O2, which completed its re-branding of fixed-line operator Český Telecom and mobile operator Eurotel this month, nominated Juraj Šedivý to become the general director of Telefónica O2 Slovakia. Telefónica O2 is getting ready to enter the Slovak market after recently receiving a license for operating the third mobile network in Slovakia. Šedivý has been working as the vice president of finance at Telefónica O2 Czech Republic.

Similarly, IT solutions supplier LogicaCMG recently reported personnel changes in its Slovak office. Erich Hulman was promoted from executive director of LogicaCMG's Slovak office to country manager.

Meanwhile, Peter Morvic, formerly operations director in LogicaCMG's Central and Eastern Europe division, was named general director of the division after his predecessor, Róbert Sándor, was promoted to LogicaCMG's general manager for Central and Eastern Europe.

The international private equity group PPF Investments is being guided by a new chief executive officer, Michal Šušák. He joined PPF Investments from Credit Suisse, where he was managing director of its investment banking division. Šušák spent 17 years in banking, the last 12 years with Credit Suisse. He previously worked for Citibank in Prague.
