Movers and shakersRyban is ČSA's HR VPMovers & Shakers | Search restaurants | Archives By František Bouc Staff Writer, The Prague Post February 22nd, 2006 issue Dušan Ryban has been promoted to vice president of human resources at Czech Airlines (ČSA). For the past two years, Ryban has been ČSA's human resources and education director. Ryban graduated from Bratislava's Military Academy. He also studied management at the University of Economics in Prague. He instructed at the Defense Ministry, training soldiers for U.N. missions and participated in military operations in Iraq, Croatia and Bosnia between 1993 and 1999. In another ČSA change, Ján Dzvoník has replaced Eduard Janota as chairman of the supervisory board. Dzvoník studied at Bratislava's University of Economics and Prague's European Business School. He also sits on the supervisory boards of oil trading company MERO and aircraft manufacturer Aero Vodochody. IBM Czech Republic has appointed Lucia Belková the business director for small and midsize businesses. Belková has held various managerial positions in IBM's Czech branch during the past two years. Petr Honzík has been named senior project manager at Cleverlance, an information technology company. He will focus on telecommunications projects. Honzík has worked in telecommunications for the past seven years as an employee at Český Telecom, most recently as manager of the competence center for integration. Former Česká spořitelna bonds and foreign exchange markets analyst Miroslav Plojhar recently moved to Citibank to become the bank's chief economist. Plojhar previously worked as a macroeconomics analyst at Newton Holding. LLP Group, a regional provider of consulting, software systems and services, has appointed Jiří Štiller the new managing director of LLP Prague. Štiller will be responsible for day-to-day operational and commercial issues. Štiller has been working at LLP for 10 years. For the past four years, he has been a services manager, responsible for, among other things, direct account management of clients such as Credit Suisse, Karneval Media and Air BP. Robert Peška is a new addition to the consulting team at Prague-based public relations firm Pram Consulting. Peška's primary responsibility will be outsourcing the communications of technology company 2N Telekomunikace. Bovis Lend Lease, a leader in international construction project management, has hired a new business development manager: Marta Rumplíková. She will be responsible for the company's marketing and business development in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Croatia. Rumplíková has been in marketing and public relations for the past 10 years, following studies at the Agricultural University in Prague.
