A re-shuffle at subsidiaries of French spirits producer Pernod Ricard has brought about a change in the top management of Czech liquor maker Jan Becher – Karlovarská Becherovka (JBKB). David Haworth of Ireland has replaced Frenchman Jean-Manuel Spriet as JBKB's CEO. Haworth has worked for Pernod Ricard for several years, previously holding an executive post at Pernod-owned Irish Distillers Group.

Spriet, who has been at the Pernod Ricard group for 15 years, will take another top management position within the Pernod Ricard company.

IBM Czech Republic has assigned Ivo Kramoliš to manage the firm's consultancy services to the public sector. Kramoliš was recently named IBM's public sector leader. Kramoliš studied international relations and political science at Charles University in Prague and also holds an MBA degree from Sheffield Hallam University.

Kramoliš devotes a large amount of his leisure time to shooting. Earlier this year, he even participated in the precision shooting IPSC World Championships in Ecuador.

Hana Člupná has been appointed a commercial manager at car leasing firm Business Lease. Člupná joined Business Lease in 2002 from Xerox ČR where she worked as an area sales manager. She focused on medium-size and large customers and was responsible for the acquisition of many important new clients including Český Telecom.

Lukáš Rampas has become a new marketing and PR manager in the Czech unit of Norway-based international telecommunications firm Telenor Networks and also at its Czech daughter firm Nextra Czech Republic. Rampas studied transport management and telecommunications at the Czech Technical University in Prague. He started his career with freight-forwarder Čechofracht.

The fast expanding online shopping mall in this country — Internet Mall — has added to its top management. Tomáš Kovařík has been appointed marketing director responsible for further increasing Internet Mall's public exposure. Kovařík is a graduate from Charles University's Philosophical Faculty.

In the meantime, Jan Kožušník was named operations director. He manages processing clients' orders submitted to the mall. Kožušník studied corporate economics at the University of Economics in Prague.

Engineering group Škoda Holding's strategic plans of international expansion brought about a change in the communication department. Karel Samec has moved to boost the marketing department of transportation engineering firm Škoda Transportation. Meanwhile, Radka Pistoriusová will act as Škoda Holding's spokeswoman.
