Movers and ShakersDanda chairman at ABAMovers & Shakers | Search restaurants | Archives By František Bouc Staff Writer, The Prague Post June 22nd, 2005 issue Bedřich Danda, head of the Association of Entrepreneurs of the Czech Republic, has been appointed chairman of the board at auto breakdown assistance company Autoklub Bohemia Assistance (ABA). Recent personnel changes occurred a month after ABA was taken over by market rival ÚAMK. It bought a 69 percent stake in ABA for 67 million Kč ($2.7 billion), thus becoming the Czech market leader in the field.
Brno-based brokerage house Cyrrus, the biggest regional brokerage, has appointed new managers at its Prague office. Jan Kousalík has been appointed the new director of the Prague office, and Jan Procházka named deputy director. Kousalík has worked in capital markets for the past three years. Most recently, he worked as a structured products broker at Commerzbank in Prague. Kousalík said part of his strategic plan is to develop Cyrrus into a leading asset management provider.
