Czech mountaineer insists he scaled Everest on his own

Chinese officials have accepted an apology from a Czech adventurer for his solo ascent of Mount Everest without official permission, an exploit that has provoked controversy in the mountaineering community. Pavel Trčala, 27, from Brno in south Moravia, says he conquered the world
