Barrieux to direct Dalkia

Laurent Barrieux has been made director at heating company Dalkia Czech Republic. Barrieux has been with Dalkia since 1987. She replaces Francois Habegre, who will head one of Dalkia's French divisions.
Executive search firm Korn/Ferry International has appointed Alice Punch managing director of its new Prague office. Punch has 15 years experience in consulting and human resources. She was previously a senior associate at Barents Group, a subsidiary of KPMG, and is the founder of the Czech Association of Finance Officers.
Punch is fluent in English and Czech and has a working knowledge of Slovak, Russian and German.
Punch holds an MBA from the Katz Graduate School of Business in Pittsburgh and a degree in material engineering and management from the Technical University of Ostrava.
Jiří Kraval has been appointed the country sales manager at D-Link Czech Republic, an information technology firm. Kraval, who studied electronics at the Czech Technical University in Prague, honed his managerial skills at other major IT firms, including Hewlett-Packard and LG Electronics.
Prague-based law firm Procházka Randl Kubr (PRK) has appointed two senior associates to act as Of Councel: Jana Buršíková and Veronika Nedbalová.
Buršíková joined PRK after graduating from Charles University's Faculty of Law in 1999. In 2000 she received a degree in intellectual property law from Oxford University. Buršíková is a member of the Czech Bar Association. Her team will focus on intellectual property, e-commerce and competition law.
Nedbalová, who also studied law at Charles University, joined PRK a year before Buršíková, in 1998. She specializes in litigation and arbitration, conciliation and administrative proceedings. She is a member of the Czech Bar Association. At PRK Nedbalová established a separate department that specializes in debt recovery and litigation.
Truck importer Scania Czech Republic has a new marketing director: Martin Benda.
Benda, who studied at the Transportation University in Žilina, Slovakia, will also handle marketing for Scania's Slovak office. Before joining Scania, Benda worked at Shell Czech Republic.
Insurance company ING Retail Czech Republic and Slovakia has hired two new managers.
Jan Stávek has been named executive financial director. A graduate of the University of Economics in Vienna, Stávek was previously the vice president of finance for the Central and East European region at Ness, an IT firm.
Zdeněk Santler is the company's new human resouces manager for business services. Santler has an MBA from Nottingham Trent University. He has worked for Deloitte Czech Republic, Konica Minolta and Santia.
